TEXT MESSAGES FROM OUR OFFICE

Program. Mitchell Baldree, DDS patient text messages, sent by Mitchell Baldree, DDS (Southside Dental Arts, LLC). We text only patients (for children, the parent or guardian on file), and only about their care with us.

What we send. Appointment reminders and confirmation requests, recall reminders, secure links to pay a balance on your account, replies to questions you text us, and a text if there is an unexpected change to your scheduled time (for example, an unexpected closure). We do not send advertising.

How you agreed. You chose text messaging as a way to reach you on your patient forms, or by texting our office. Message frequency varies with your appointments; a typical patient receives a few messages around each visit. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

How to stop. Reply STOP or OPTOUT to any message and texts from that number will end; you will receive one message confirming that. You can also change your preferences at any time in your patient portal or by telling the front desk. Stopping texts does not affect your care, but it does limit how we can confirm your appointments.

Privacy. Your mobile number and text-messaging consent are never sold or shared for marketing. How we handle them is explained in our Privacy Policy. Text messages are not a secure channel and may be read by anyone with access to your phone, so we keep clinical detail out of texts and continue any conversation about your care by telephone or in person.
